What are your options if you fail the exam?

Anyone who fails the exam may take a resit within one year.

To register for the CEPT upgrade exam for Novice licence holders, you must enter the number of your CEPT certificate of proficiency.

Preconditions

To use this service, you must be registered on the DETEC eGovernment portal.

When registering for an exam, you must submit two documents (passport photo and scanned signature in jpeg format). These will be used to issue the certificate of proficiency in credit card form.

Fees

Exam / Resit / Upgrade exam: Basic fee CHF 75.00

Exam / Resit: CHF 50.00

Upgrade exam: CHF 40.00
