Service description

Request a packet radio call sign.

A packet radio station can transmit digital data in wireless networks. A call sign allows for unique identification of each device. It has six digits and is drawn from the internationally applicable series for Switzerland. It allows for the transmission of data on CB radio frequencies.

Preconditions

To use this service, you must be registered on the DETEC eGovernment portal.

Fees

For allocation of a call sign, the initial administrative fee is CHF 35.00
Following this, the administrative fee payable once every five years is
 CHF 25.00
