Supply interruptions

Service description

Here you can access your survey on supply interruptions. This is used to calculate the quality of supply indices (SAIDI, SAIFI).

Under Art. 6 para. 2 of the Electricity Supply Ordinance (ESO), network operators are required to furnish ElCom with internationally recognised quality of supply indices on an annual basis. To ensure comparability, ElCom calculates these indices itself and asks network operators to provide only the raw data.

The System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI) and the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI) are internationally recognised indicators of the reliability of a country's electricity supply.

Note that certain sections of the form contain values calculated as a service. However, as the calculation in the online forms limits the number of decimal places, roundings may result in discrepancies between the values in the form and those derived from your or ElCom's calculation.
