Request an Issuer Identifier Number (IIN)

Service description

Request an Issuer Identifier Number (IIN) to correctly identify an issuer of international payment cards for telecommunication services.

The Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) is the authorised intermediary for the registration of IIN. It examines allocation requests and forwards them to the competent international body, the ITU-TSB. The ITU-TSB ensures that each IIN is assigned only once worldwide.
