Request an International Signalling Point Code (ISPC)

Service description

Request an International Signalling Point Code (ISPC) to enable international forwarding of control information between elements of a telecommunications network.

ISPCs are signalling codes used worldwide in the SS7 signalling networks (Signalling System No 7).

Please note the following when ordering an ISPC:

  • ISPCs are not freely selectable and are allocated to telecommunications service providers by the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM).
  • ISPCs must be used in a system located in Switzerland and may not be put into operation abroad.
  • ISPCs allocated by a foreign regulatory authority may not be put into operation or used in Switzerland, even if the authority in question permits this.
