Request a Mobile Network Code (MNC)

Service description

Request a Mobile Network Code (MNC) to uniquely identify yourself as a public terrestrial mobile network operator.

Please note that an MNC can only be allocated if one of the following conditions is met:

  • Your organisation has a radiocommunications licence for GSM, UMTS, LTE or a comparable mobile communications technology

or

  • Your organisation has concluded an agreement with a radiocommunications licence holder on the use of its Swiss mobile communications network (national roaming).

To use this service, your organisation must be registered and published as a telecommunications service provider.

Fees

One-off allocation fee per Mobile Network Code (MNC)
CHF 420.00
Annual administrative charge (pro rata in the first year based on the remaining calendar months)  CHF 100.00
