Request a National Signalling Point Code (NSPC)

Service description

Request a National Signalling Point Code (NSPC) to enable routing of SS7 signalling traffic between telecommunications networks on a national basis.

National Signalling Point Codes (NSPCs) are signalling codes used throughout the country in the SS7 signalling networks (Signalling System No 7).

Please note the following when ordering an NSPC:

  • NSPCs allocated by OFCOM may be used by TSPs exclusively for the intermediate signalling network (NI=11).
  • NSPCs allocated by a foreign regulatory authority may not be put into operation or used in Switzerland, even if the authority in question permits this.
