Data submission for the Broadband Atlas

Service description

Send your data to OFCOM to help update the Swiss Broadband Atlas.

This service allows network operators to submit their broadband coverage data to OFCOM. The information submitted is used to update the Swiss Federal Broadband Atlas (www.breitbandatlas.ch), which publishes the availability of different Internet access technologies in Switzerland (copper, coaxial, fiber optics) and the maximum speeds available. Operators must submit their data in accordance with the specifications set out in the manual for network operators.

The service provides a secure space where operators can:

  • upload a ZIP file containing data in XML or CSV format;
  • perform automatic syntax and consistency checks;
  • view the validation reports generated after each submission;
  • replace or supplement previously submitted data.

Data is submitted twice a year, in April and October. Participation is voluntary.
